OUR MISSION
To increase awareness, raise money and support research to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease and to promote the development of improved therapies and establish optimal quality of life for those living with Parkinson's today.
HOW WE STARTED
Pinky's Passion for a Parkinson's Cure started as Pinky's Passion for Fashion, a Vintage Fashion Show with a Purpose, on April 27, 2007. We held a vintage fashion show and dessert that night with over $12,000 in proceeds being given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. We had such a good time doing the fashion show and raising funds, we decided we wanted to do more of it. Thus began the idea of Pinky's Passion for a Parkinson's Cure. We incorporated in the State of Washington as a Non Profit Corporation on November 30, 2007 and have received 501 (c)(3) tax exempt status from the Federal Government effective November 30, 2007. Contributions to Pinky's Passion are deductible to the full extent of the law.
