Our Mission
To raise money, increase awareness and support research for a Parkinson's cure.
How We Started
Pinky's Passion for a Parkinson's Cure started as Pinky's Passion for Fashion, a Vintage Fashion Show with a Purpose, on April 27, 2007. We held a vintage fashion show and dessert that night with over $12,000 in proceeds being given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. We had such a good time doing the fashion show and raising funds, we decided to do more of it. Thus began the idea of Pinky's Passion for a Parkinson's Cure. We incorporated in the State of Washington as a Non Profit Corporation on November 30, 2007 and have received 501 (c)(3) tax exempt status from the Federal Government effective November 30, 2007. Since our inception, we have raised over $63,000 for the fight against Parkinson's. Contributions to Pinky's Passion are deductible to the full extent of the law.
Where We Are Going
As Pinky's Passion, we intend to raise money for Parkinson's Disease research & cure. We intend to support both local and National 501(c)(3) organizations that provide support and research.
